Attend the Beanpot: On February 1st and February 8th you can witness local college hockey rivalry at its finest. At this annual event, Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern University and Harvard College play for the Beanpot Trophy and more importantly, the bragging rights! Many are predicting the championship game to be between the defending champ: Boston University, and Boston College, although it could be anyone’s game! Celebrate the Chinese New Year: The Chinese New Year officially begins on February 8th, but on Sunday February 14th, the annual Chinese New Year Parade takes place in Chinatown! Catch a Show: Get out of the cold and into the theatre! Boston is home to some amazing and historic theaters and there’s always something new playing! Take a Sip of Wine: Are you a wine lover? If so, you can’t miss Boston’s 2016 Wine Expo! With over 1,800 wines from more than 200 wineries, you’ll have your pick of the best of the best! In addition to wine tastings, there will be food and other beverages available. Also in attendance will be Boston’s best sommeliers to answer any and all wine related questions you could have. Watch the Super Bowl: Even though our beloved Patriots did not make it to the 50th Super Bowl this year, it is still a fun event to watch with a crowd, especially in Boston! Almost every bar in the city will be broadcasting the game, but our favorites are Cask N’ Flagon in the Fenway Area and the Pour House on Boylston Street.
