To all those SPOTers out there who have yet to realize we are in the month of September (we know, crazy right?) we are back out here with a list of the top events happening this month. Don’t worry, there’s still a bunch to experience.
Faneuil Hall will be hosting dance nights this month. Head over on the 7th, 14th or 21st to learn something new in salsa, swing, and R&B. The night will start with 45 minutes dedicated to all the newbies in town.
The mayor is hosting movie nights in the Frog Pond. Stop by on September 15th at 6:30pm to view Top Gun. Bring a blanket to sit on and snacks to munch on.
Head to the City Hall Plaza on September 17th from 11am-5pm to take place in a dance parade preceded with a Zumba warm up. It’s free, it’s fun, it gets you moving! DJs will be on the scene leading the parade on decorated trucks.
South End Open Studios
Come experience the work of 200 artists with studio space in the South End. Local galleries will be open for free and a shuttle bus will help move guests between studios.
Boston Local Food Festival
If you like food, be sure to head to the Rose Kennedy Greenway on September 17th from 11am-5pm to taste food from 100 different vendors. Two chefs will have to cook a surprise seafood dish to wow the judges. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss.
