July 8, 2017 - 2 minutes read

It’s a week into July, the heat is kicking up and you’re probably looking for ways to spend the month. For students, time might be clicking away slowly as internships begin to slow, summer classes are let out, and the inevitable lull of the summer picks up. With the city slowing down, it’s time to look for ways to pass the time. Here are our best bets!

Boston Lobster Party
The last day is happening tomorrow! Head to SoWa for this awesome event featuring some of Boston’s best seafood food trucks. Better yet, there will tons of beer and cider to help wash down your favorite picks.

Boston Pizza Festival
The first Boston pizza festival will be held tomorrow as well. Head to town hall plaza to try the best pizza that Boston has to offer. Vote for your favorite and help the city decide who makes the top pizza in the city!

Bastille Day Block Party
Head to Marlborough Street on July 14th at 6pm to celebrate France’s national holiday. Authentic French restaurants will serve some of their favorite dishes. Live music, dancing, beer and wine will also be available.

Held from July 14th-July 15th this art festival at Davis Square will feature 75 art vendors as well as food and activities for any age.

Open Newbury St.
Newbury St. without cars? That will be a sight to see! Head to Newbury St. on July 23rd to experience it without the cluster of traffic. Wander around and experience the stores, restaurants, and vendors from a whole new perspective.
