Going Out Tonight?

December 18, 2014 - 2 minutes read

Stop us when this sounds familiar:

You get a call from a friend a couple minutes before you leave work asking to meet for a drink. You accept, feeling the need for a break from the day to day. You drive downtown, meet at your favorite pub and park your car at a meter that’s finally freed up after you circling the block for 20 minutes. You weren’t planning on going out tonight, but what’s the harm with one drink?

You go inside and one drink turns into 4. 4 drinks leads to appetizers, apps lead to more drinks and maybe some karaoke; cause y’know, why not? Karaoke always leads to bad decisions and a few more drinks later you’re heading back to your friend’s place because she lives closer than your 45 minute drive home, and you’re a responsible adult who knows better than to be behind the wheel in your current state.

I know where you think this is going, get your mind out of the gutter.

You wake up in the morning on an uncomfortable futon and head back to find your car with a brand new orange envelope on it’s windshield. That’s still better than the times when you forget about street cleaning and end up getting towed. What was a $5-$10 night out turns into a quick $150 seemingly without you knowing!

While we can’t help your love of a good whiskey sour, and we definitely can’t help your karaoke voice (seriously, I hope someone put that on YouTube) we can save you from parking tickets.

When you’re staying out later than expected simply extend the length of your rental from your smartphone while you’re waiting for the bartender to look your way again to get a refill. We’re here to help you make the right kind of bad decisions.

Unless you’re that annoying person who is waiting for your phone to charge behind the bar. You’re lost, and we can’t help you.
